8.Where are your classes held?
Classes are held at J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate (1355 Harwood Ave N, Ajax, ON L1T 4G8). At Scholars Collective, we believe that learning in a structured classroom environment helps students build confidence, develop strong academic habits, and stay focused, supporting their success in school.
9.What if the level does not match my child’s grade?
Our levels are designed to strengthen skills and close learning gaps. A student’s level may not always match their school grade, but the goal is to ensure they master the fundamentals needed to succeed in their current grade and beyond.
4.Who teaches the classes?
Our classes are taught by qualified teachers who specialize in the subject they teach, ensuring students receive strong academic guidance and support.
3.How large are the classes?
We keep our classes small and supportive so teachers can give students more individual attention and help them build confidence. Our teacher to student ratio is 1:12
10.What makes Scholars Collective different from tutoring?
Scholars Collective is not a drop-in tutoring service—we are a structured 30-week program designed to build strong foundations and truly improve a child’s understanding of what they are learning.
We do not add students mid-semester, which creates stability in the classroom and allows students to grow together without disruption. Our small class sizes provide the hands-on learning and individual attention students need, all within a structured environment they can carry into their day-to-day school experience.
Our qualified teachers focus on closing knowledge gaps, building confidence, and encouraging critical thinking. We also include assessments and exams throughout the program to ensure students are absorbing and retaining what they learn—setting them up for long-term success, not just short-term results.
2.When does class start and end?
We run our program from the third week of September through to the third week of June. Enrollment closes in the last week of August. To ensure the best outcomes for our students, we do not accept mid-semester enrollments. The success of our model is built on students progressing through the full 30-week program without interruption, allowing for consistent learning and strong skill development.
